Eight of our cadets finally achieve their Staff Cadet examination allowing them to wear the yellow lanyard. However the hard work starts here as they will now be involved in the running of the unit and ensuring all activities take place as published.
Well done to all of them.
Monday 15th of October
MRV42 Base this is MRC49 Bravo 2, This Weekend just, gone 12th to the 14th of October, 5 cadets attended a radio course at R.A.F Halton. Out of the 4 cadets three passed and one has been invited back in February 08 to try again, I went back for my second U/T instructor course and hope to go back again in February as well, if anyone else is interested in the basic course or U/T course please see me and I will email Cpl. Heal (NCO IC of Halton Radio School) and show him a list of interest to try and get as many places as possible. I ask one of the attendees to write a small article on the course and what happened, or a rough chronological order of events of one of the days and bring it to me at the squadron as I hope to get an events stories page up and running.
Flight Lieutenant Mike Stock achieves 25 years of service to the corps - well done him.

Monday 15th of October
We are back, over the past month I have been
learning to use the website, if you are reading this then I have succeeded, but
the main problem is there has been no news for a while so a brief over view is
as follows: We have had 4 promotions as follows: CWO Capewell, CWO Dennis, Cpl
Smith and Cpl Bonben. Also both CWOs have temporarily left the squadron and I
am sure we all hope to see them soon. Now the website is back I ask for any
feedback but please bear in mind 2 things: 1 I am new to this so if there are
any faults I would be grateful if you let me know but please go easy on me as I
am still new to this and 2, if you would like to see something that we
don’t have already please let me know.
Regards Web Master.
Sunday the 5th August
Cadet Justen Smith and Sergeant Katie Rocker
have achieved their Silver Gliding wings. Congratulations to them and we hope
to see them on their jumpers in October.
